MINI MARKERS
Viscot Medical pioneered the now widely adopted Mini barrel design. Mini markers are approximately half the size of a standard marker but still full with enough ink to mark most procedures and consultations.
This compact design offers an economical, eco-friendly solution that supports infection control initiatives and promotes single-patient use.
Available in two styles: slim with a no-roll cap (1451 Gentian Violet Ink, ViXL® line Minis, 1481 GVFree® Ink) and wide with a clip cap (EZ Removable® Ink line and the 1453 Utility Marker).
PRECISION BARREL
The original barrel design used in Viscot Medical surgical markers. Our standard barrel is engineered for comfort and control during use. Precision Barrels are our premium design and provide the smooth feel and performance of a fountain pen.
Available on Precision Markers and full size ViXL® Ink markers.
WIDE BARREL
A robust barrel designed for comfort and familiarity. Wide Barrel Markers feel like a standard marker and are equipped with a clip cap for secure transport.
Available in all full size Utility Markers, 1460 and 1480 Traditional Ink markers.
VALUE BARREL
Viscot Value barrels sit between Mini and full-size markers, offering comparable cost and waste-reducing advantages of a Mini Marker with similar control compared to the above full-size barrel options. Compact and practical, the Value barrel's pencil-like feel allows for accurate, controlled lines.
Available in all surgical skin ink options, sterile with a regular tip. Traditional Gentian Violet Ink options are also available non-sterile and with an ultrafine tip.
MULTI-TIP BARRELS
Multi-Tip barrel markers feature two tips- one on each end- delivering the convenience of two markers in one. The Multi-Tip design offers an economical and eco-conscious alternative: reducing waste while maximizing versatility.
Tip configurations vary by product number but commonly include a regular tip on one end and a fine or ultra fine tip on the other. Cap color indicates the ink type on that side of the marker: shades of purple designate surgical ink, while black identifies utility ink.
Multi-Tip barrels come in three styles: Standard (1422 and 1425), Wide (1462XL), and Blephmarker®.
THE BLEPHMARKER® BARREL
The unique Blephmarker® barrel is thinner than our standard Multi-Tip barrels and features two ultra fine tips, offering a fresh tip per eyelid.
The thinner barrel helps keep the marker economical while still incorporating Viscot’s premium rounded ultra fine tips.
PRESSURIZED BARREL
Only available in Viscot Medical’s Visflow® marker line, this barrel is engineered to ensure consistent, reliable marking through fluids on wet tissue. Perfect for intraoperative marking for abdominoplasty, breast, and liposuction procedures.
